09 May 5 reasons why couples choose our wedding venue in Gloucestershire
For the last ten years, we’ve welcomed a fantastic amount of couples to our wedding venue in Gloucestershire, and all the people who choose to get married here at Eastington Park do so for different reasons. There are a few things, however, that keep popping up, so we thought we’d dedicate this blog to some of those. After all, choosing a place to get married is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make!
1) Exclusive Use
The fact that we offer our guests exclusive use of our building and grounds is is often at the top of the list of things that our couples and their families love about our wedding venue in Gloucestershire. But it’s also true to say that many people only realise the benefits long after they have made the booking.
When you hear ‘exclusive use’, it’s natural to think this means that only you and your loved ones will be in attendance (along with our team, thank goodness!). This is of course true, but the absence of other guests on your wedding day is only a tiny part of the benefits of ‘exclusive use’.
What it really means is that you’re able to enjoy your wedding, your way. We don’t have curfews, carriages and a rigid format to stick to: for the day and night of your booking, Eastington Park is yours to make your own.
If you’d like a candlelit dinner followed by drinks and a string quartet, then that’s what you can have. Or you might prefer a barbecue with bouncy castles and a bucking bronco: again, we can make that happen.
We give you complete control of your entertainment, we have a 24 hour bar licence, and we let you book your own amusements: think of our luxury wedding venue as a blank canvas, and make your dreams come true!
2) Our award-winning team
Some of our guests know exactly what they want, while others are seeking inspiration and ideas. In either case, our dedicated, experienced, friendly and award-winning team of expert wedding managers are here to support you every step of the way.
We’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of couples plan their perfect nuptials at our wedding venue in Gloucestershire, which means we have a very good idea as to what works best at Eastington Park. We’ll never dictate to you, but we will always be here to advise you. It’s sometimes the case that less is more at a wedding, and we’re very happy to act as a sounding board for any creative suggestions.
Our couples are our priority, and we will take your lead, but having us available to help before, after and during your celebration can really take the pressure off, as well as giving you complete confidence that your special day will run smoothly.
We’re very proud of the support we give, and happy couples often say how much they appreciate the work of our award-winning, lovely team.
3) Stress-free travel and accommodation
There’s a lot more to a good wedding than a ceremony, a feast and a party. You also need to consider how your friends and family are going to get to the venue and suggest places for them to stay.
We’ve all experienced the difficulty of booking suitable rooms, and the age-old problem of getting to and fro when there’s no public transport (and finding a taxi is nigh on impossible). It’s hard to overstate how much of a relief it is when you don’t have to fret about any of this. You can forget about booking taxis months in advance, discard the need for designated drivers and focus on having the time of your lives: you and your guests will be put up in our own exquisite accommodation!
You don’t need to worry about costs and arrangements, either, as we will liaise directly with the people you’ve invited and take payment for the rooms from them. All you need to do is give them our contact details and they can book a gorgeous room for all the family in minutes.
Not only do we have the 33 rooms in the main house, but we also offer you and up to ten guests The Lodge to sleep in on the night before your wedding, and our own stunning B&B, The Lazy Goose, which is two minutes away and has 7 ensuite bedrooms (and the best coffee in all the land!).
Eastington is well-connected via public transport, air (Bristol airport is 35 miles away), train (Stonehouse station is 2 miles away) and road, and we have plenty of space before, on and after the big day. It’s a huge plus.
4) We cater for all different ceremonies
The ceremony is the centrepiece of any wedding or civil partnership, and we’re very proud of the range we offer. From intimate church services with traditional music to outdoor rock ‘n’ roll blessings, you’ll find that we can deliver over and above your high expectations.
We have carefully designed Eastington Park so that very different ceremonies can be equally special. We are licensed to hold ceremonies outside (under the shade of our glorious pergola), and inside either the pretty local church or our ballrooms in the main house.
Whatever you choose, we will make sure the ceremony is as special as the people who attend it. Choosing our wedding venue in Gloucestershire doesn’t mean you have to commit to a certain type of wedding, and we can plan for and adapt to weather conditions in the blink of an eye!
If you’re considering us for your special day, please feel free to contact us to chat about the ceremonies we offer.
5) Eastington Park is a beautiful place
This might not seem the most original point to make in a blog, but there’s no getting away from the fact that many people choose us because Eastington Park is, quite simply, glorious.
From our stunning grounds to our exceptional honeymoon suite, we’ve left no stone unturned in creating a luxury wedding venue in Gloucestershire that will take your breath away.
But Eastington Park isn’t just a spectacular estate: it’s a specialist wedding venue that we’ve designed for a purpose. From well-lit make up rooms to children’s play areas and high-heel friendly pathways, we have made sure that our venue has everything you would want for the perfect day.
From the moment one of your wedding parties arrives at The Lodge on the day before the wedding, you can be sure that everything will be in place, immaculate and prepared. It’s the Eastington Park way.
