A new year, a new blog and a new addition to the Eastington Park family.

It’s been a long time coming, but we’re pleased to welcome you to the Eastington Park blog.

We’ve always wanted a place to tell the stories of the wonderful couples who choose our venue for their special day, as well as somewhere to paint the picture of all the work that goes on behind the scenes as we strive to make the best wedding venue in Gloucestershire even better!

2023 was the Year of the Lodge.

What a special year 2023 was for all of us at Eastington Park. We emphatically shook off the remnants of the Covid era and welcomed more couples than ever to our exclusive use wedding venue. It was also the year that we were finally able to return The Lodge to its proper place as part of the Eastington Park experience. When we took over, The Lodge didn’t belong to us, and we always hoped for the opportunity to offer it to our guests. After a long negotiation and a total refurbishment of the building, we made that dream a reality.
The Lodge is available to guests at no extra cost.

The Lodge is now a stunning, modern maisonette which we offer to up to ten guests on the night before the wedding. This means that one of the wedding parties can wake up a stone’s throw from the main venue and get their preparations underway without any of those jittery travel worries! It’s a brilliant addition to our offering and we’re delighted by all the positive feedback we’ve had. A night’s stay at The Lodge on the day before the wedding also comes at no extra cost, so that’s yet another reason to choose us if you’re looking for the perfect wedding venue in Gloucestershire.

The Lazy Goose is coming soon.

We’re hugely excited to announce the next step in our journey to become the UK’s ultimate all-in-one wedding venue: The Lazy Goose. Right in the heart of Eastington, we have converted the old King’s Head into a vibrant coffee house and community centre by day, and a cozy and modern Bed & Breakfast by night.

As well as providing the village with a shared space for everyone to enjoy, we have also created the ideal place for wedding parties to enjoy a superb stay on the night before the big day.

Both parties can stay locally on the night before.

While one of the couples’ friends and family are enjoying The Lodge, the other wedding party can book The Lazy Goose, which has seven beautifully appointed rooms, including a family room that sleeps four. In the morning, you can pop downstairs to enjoy exquisite coffees and a complimentary continental breakfast, before taking the short journey to Eastington Park.
